.R.I.P. little princess

Our little girl Tia Louise was a born fighter. She was born 11 weeks early without any warning but fought her little premature battle with pride. At just 2lb in weight Tia fought her way through 9 weeks in hospital and grew into a clever, beautiful little girl.

Doctors warned that Tia may be slightly behind schedule for a while with her development because of her prematurity but this wasn't the case with Tia. She caught up her development and lived life to the full of any other 5 year old. Tia was often known as "Little Miss Chatterbox" to her family and friends. She loved dancing and singing and lived in a world of pink and frills. She was a true little girl and would thrive in any opportunity to dress like a princess.

In February 2006, Tia became unwell and in true Tia style tried to put her fighting brave face on things. She argued with her Mummy not to go to the doctors because she didn't want to miss school. When she eventually went to the doctors she was referred to the hospital where the terrible journey began. After a couple of days of investigations, Tia was diagnosed with a Wilm's tumor. She underwent surgery to remove the tumor but it had travelled through the blood and spread to many of her organs, her lungs being the worst hit. Tia's illness was terminal. In true Tia style she kept her positive fighting attitude and clung to her dolly when the pain hit and life became struck. Peacefully at her home on December 26th after spending a princess themed Christmas, Tia passed away surrounded by her family and close friends.

Tia, loving daughter of Laura and Lee, was her Mummy and Daddy's pride and joy. Tia was a true Daddy's girl and proved this from day one by making her early arrival on Daddy's birthday! She adored her little brothers and sisters Joseph, Isaac and Micah. Tia brought sunshine and happiness to the lives of her Grandparents, aunties, uncles, cousins and friends.

Goodnight God Bless little princess sleep tight with the angels.
